Latitude Zero (1969)

A sci-fi film with an odd mix of elements, Latitude Zero was an American-Japanese co-production from Toho directed by Ishiro Honda (who helmed many Godzilla films) and with special effects by Eiji Tsuburaya (his last science-fiction film). The movie starred Joseph Cotten, Cesar Romero, Akira Takarada, Masumi Okada, Richard Jaeckel, Patricia Medina, and Akihiko Hirata. The film was shot in English -- the Japanese actors were said to have learned their lines phonetically.
